downloading faces

Highly doubt it's possible, but what if there were a mod that made your client download other players faces/decals when you join another server as a part of the cache?

well.. in fact I'm sure that it's not possible. But Maybe there could be a server sided mod that did this? So that everyone could see everyone elses custom decals?

It's not dooable because forcing the client to download user content (except for models, etc) is out of the question completely as far as I know

Yeah, I know you can make clients download from the server, but from other clients I don't think that's workable. But at least it might be possible to make the clients see the servers faces/decals
