I will never install that piece of stuff software. Even if it was better than steam, I wouldn't ever get it. I have a stuffload of games on steam and I don't want to have two fairly expensive programs open whenever I want to play games. So does anyone know? I did a quick google search, but all that came up was about the constant internet connection thing.

Pretty sure there are some EA games on Steam that were also first released on Orgin. Regardless, if it is required I'm sure someone will be mad enough to find a way around that.

Battlefield 3 was Origin exclusive if I'm not mistaken. And yeah, you could probably bypass it either through piracy(which I wouldn't want to do because it looks like a great game) or maybe someone will find another way, but you'd probably still have to install origin to download it initially.

Yeah, you're right. I just looked it up, that sucks. Hopefully they don't pull that with SimCity. I can imagine that they did that with Battlefield 3 considering it's multiplayer orientated and such.

God I love SimCity. This one makes so much more sense than SC4 when it comes to the mechanics behind water, electricity, and sewage. Ahhh I cant wait for February!
