How come the key system didn't have passwords? (POLL)

I didn't mean reset, I meant like a way to kick everyone off the key and then be able to give it back to the original user. Im guessing if the master server does keep a log, Badspot could see what IP registered with the key the very first time and verify it with a forum account or something.

Let me rephrase that, "chances are if you manage to lose your key, you'll be stupid enough to lose your password".

I have another question, is the key system from Amazon or blockland.us? Kind of silly question but I have a distinct memory of the key generated on amazon.com. However I could just be confused.
