Why would you want a password for a password

Yeah thats what Im trying to figure out, the key is both the username and password basically but would having an actual password field be beneficial? I think it would but then that would be another thing we'd have to remember about.

I don't know why we don't just have a global account system for the website, forums, and game.

wouldn't this get slightly confusing should Blockland ever get on Steam?

I was thinking this as well, a login system on blockland.us which is just so the account can register with the Key (password as well). However this would require more work for badspot.

EDIT: Just use the forum account to register the password? We could have a main login site and tie the forum and main website together? (It would be less confusing). Maybe it should be Key system and Forum account only since the forums login is already made, if someone gets someones forum account then they could get it back via email as well as their key.

SO MANY POSSIBILITIES!

The key is product activation. Its there to prevent piracy. It doesn't need a password because its designed to be impossible to lose or guess unless you physically give it away.

I don't see a reason it would need a password. That is like putting your safe in a safe.
