If you want to have a different accent, move to the country/ region that has the accent. Wait 5-15 years (maybe less), problem solved.

I can do a british accent but I kinda wish I had one.

I can in speak British and Russian accents; no need to have anything else.
A German accent would be fun though.

but no, I wouldn't really want to have a different accent. I'd like to be able to use different one temporarily, but not to have a permanently different one


Recently (probably due to watching too much JonTron), I tend to lapse into an exaggerated Brooklyn accent.

Sometimes I also go into a British accent. (although normally i pronounce and spell things in a more english way than american way anyway)

Ordinarily, I'll have a Midwestern accent (besides some exceptions).
