Avalonia begins work on constructing nuclear generators to supply the nation with electricity, demand for which has been growing as Avalonia improves. Brown outs have been fairly common, but no more.

power generation is costly and huge without proper Tokamak reactors or other mass energy production facilities dedicated to them.
also, they are rather short range compared to an ICBM.
