Fallout Megathread: Reboot

I hate people that say Fallout 1 and 2 were better games than Fallout 3 and New Vegas and vice-versa. They aren't even the same type of game, one is a modern day "fps rpg" while the others are isometric turn-based combat (loosely termed) rpgs.
I personally don't like turn-based combat, but I know 1 and 2 weren't stuff. A lot of people liked them.

You kill stuff to level up, you make money to buy more guns, you collect parts to build better guns to kill more stuff faster, you buy or are given homes so that you can heal and store your guns before you go out and kill more stuff so that you can make more money to buy better guns.
I think Fallout may be oriented towards combat, yes.

Why? I think people are justified to hate Fallout 3. Im ok with the whole "Fps" aspect entering the fallout world, but if you have even played the first 2 fallouts you would know Fallout 3 is complete garbage. As for New Vegas, anyone who hates New Vegas is a fool. New Vegas is Fallout 3 done right. It has a better storyline, better factions, better quests, and makes the game a hell of a lot more challenging than 3.
I must ask, have you even played the original Fallouts?

Fallout 3 is a poor RPG game and the FPS aspect is garbage aswell. The weapon balancing of Fallout 3 is handicapped as some weapons simply overpower others in every aspect. Remember Deathclaws that are extreme dangerous monsters ? In Fallout 3 you can make them patheticly easy to kill by just getting a loving dart gun that INSTANTLY cripples their legs with a single shot. Ontop of that the dart gun is extremly easy to build and ammo is super common.
In New Vegas Deathclaws are always a danger even on high levels and with the best gear.
