What if Badspot goes all Microsoft on us and doesn't allow users to make money off his game by hosting for other people
Bad or yes?
I think that the change is good, because the majority of players on Steam are rather mature. However, there will be an excessive amount of per-pubescent children who want to play with it because legos.
That's definitely the case already. Most of those kids don't actually post on the forums but there are a vast number who actually play the game. I'd like to think that some of the mature players Steam will bring would be more inclined to provide "safe" servers for the younger part of the community.
A different way of getting and accessing the game is great and will hopefully bring about new players, there's no downside to having a larger community.
Lets all just get naked and dance in your garden.
