I was watching some gameplay for this and i'll be honest, it looks bland and boring. Also incredibly unrealistic.

There are videos from FPSgeneral/IGN about the gameplay. Some w/ devs too.
Gear:
I wouldn't rate the game on the current gameplay videos. Those are mostly pre alpha stuff. I would wait till Beta when gameplay mechanics are getting tested.
