How does this look like a polished version of dayZ ?
Did DayZ invent post apocalyptic survival or what ?
All these features seen in the OP have nothing to do with DayZ at all. I heavily doubt Rocket would ever manage to do such drastic changes anyways.
"Boohoo they have character models that also wear caps and have backpacks / rotten zombies / guns they must be copied from dayZ"- Seriously ? I might aswell just compare Battlefield with Call of Duty because they both feature the same weapons / organisations / vehicles. I can already hear the DayZ community complaining about WarZ because it features crossbows.
DayZ is a broken and crappy zombie survival mod which you could rather call "Deathmatch with zombies" as PVP makes up most of the game. It's very overhyped even though it has a poor quality. The ideas of it were good but DayZ is just stuff in what it's trying to be. Oh and the community is a bag of douchebags aswell. One may like it but this is how I feel about DayZ.
For me War Z is what I expected from DayZ - a fun zombie survival game with lots of exploring and what not. The features and ideas are great , the community is decent and the game looks nice.
Ironically War Z will even run on lap tops with integrated graphic cards.
No War Z isn't a DayZ clone. The name was probally chosen so it reminds you of DayZ. Or maybe because both games are based on a book called "World war Z".

DayZ was only fun for three days. Then people starting buying the game just for the mod and rocket released side ways updates for the game. I also forget those youtube partners like BlueXphos who made the mod more popular.
