I'd make banners go as far as 6 bricks (not plates) long. Also, wouldn't want them to be attached to poles, and make them prints. That would be great.
Suggested possible dimensions: (Height is always in brick, not plate height. Always one brick length thick. Orientation is HorizontalxVertical)
