Sleven:
About moderation. How is the idea for that system? Will single moderators be able to remove saves or will it be a flagging system where everyone is involved and the majority win? Won't it be messy with so many mods as you suggested.
Ephialtes:
I'm not sure, just kinda throwing ideas out there for people to discuss. I think a single moderator should be able to remove a save. The moderators would be placed in a position of power and they would be trusted to not screw around with that power so I don't think that'd be an issue.

The add-on list would be automatically generated based on the contents of the save file you submit and people could then see the list of add-ons required by a save when they download it.

There are a lot of other things like automated previews and things which could be cut from the initial release to make sure this comes out a bit sooner though.

From your posts it seems your aiming toward a whole subsection in RTB for build saves in categories with other features. My suggestion was just a rough section where people can upload saves directly from their saves folder as a base to work from. I'm sure you thought of that though.
However, reading my idea now does kina makes no sense.
Pass:
As for downloading the saves; would it sort of be like Garry's Mod Toybox where it only uploads it once then you use it to your content, or will it add as a new save to your save menu?

If it gets added to your save menu, it would end up clogging your save folder with saves that you will only use once. I have come up with 3 possible solutions to this.

1) Make it like the Garry's Mod Toybox where you only use it once and then if you want it again, you download it again.

2) Make a save delete button in the save menu. This will not only fix this problem but many other problems players have had with clogged saves. You could always just go to your saves folder outside of the .exe and delete it manually, but I find this a lot easier and simpler. It is also better for new players.

3) Add an option to save it to your saves folder or just use it temporarily. Like, there could be a popup when downloading to ask "Would you like to save this to your save folders, or use it temporarily?" then there could be another option below it to choose your current selection every time or not, just so it doesn't annoy players whenever they just want to use the saves as temporary or permanently every time.

Maybe you should do both, have a moderator removed heavily flagged props? Also, to an old point you made about the props' bounding boxes, doesn't the new duplicator show multiple ghost bricks for duplications? Couldn't you do something like that especially since props would be small?

That isn't useful to the topic...
