Author Topic: Another earthquake in NH jesus forget help me  (Read 2900 times)

So I was a town off the Epicenter

icy get in here and tell me about your earthquake experiences so i feel paranoid again aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

OOH OOH OVER HERE

You are going to die.

Actually, I can relate to this really well. Thats a 4.6 with a depth of 5KM? That is a good stuff-your-pants shake that'll have your house rattling loudly and give you a good hit of movement, if you are close to the epicenter (within 25KM of it).

We've had just short of 11,000 aftershocks since 2010, twenty-two of them in the 5.0 and 5.9 between 5-9km deep. Thousands more in the 4.0s and 3.0s.

Its unbelievable how much you are forced to learn about quakes when you are in one. So many people think its just one big shake and that the magnitude rating is all there is to it, but its so not true. :c

People also think they will be fun to be in but once you are in a proper damaging shake, in your city, in your house, its just awful.

2.3 in northeast alabama

nothing here in the lovely wisconsin.

There was an earthquake in my town.  Massachusetts rarely gets earthquakes
But for some reason it didn't effect my home…  plenty of people are stuffting themselves on Facebook about it though.  It is quite entertaining.

good thing uk quakes arent big :D

rattly wardrobes

Had a 5.7 hit us in the middle of class last week, was fun

but that's pretty normal considering it's Chile

i'm in birmingham.. didn't feel anything but I think i wanna experience a small earthquake once..
now tornadoes are my worst natural disaster fear

The Earth must be pleased with us because she doesn't try to shake Colorado off the planet all the time like you people.

live in washington state or california then you'll understand.
