Here's badspots server when v8 (events) came out, This was at the time the most people i'd seen on a server at once.
This is a capture the flag i evented before there were any mods for it:
People really like this photo for some reason, It was used for some server joining button somebody made? (This one is pre events)

Oh and this is badspots server when boats were added, Which i don't think was too long ago?
