Try to find a good getting started guide that's easily accessible from the forum (I'm not saying that what we have currently is perfect, but that having stuff like that on a forum is worthless, since even the good stuff just fades away very quickly).

there isn't one, plus you have third party content on there which is dumb

they aren't "getting started" guides per se but you can pick and choose what you want to learn first, and there's less handholding which makes you better at it
