Steam Games- The Wierdest Errors...

actually i just realized it doesn't matter what os you use...if you want to "uninstall" steam just delete the steam folder, this will delete all your games and you will have to reinstall them but that's the only thing i can think of, maybe try the steam forums

Ok 1. You never stated you restarted steam in your post.
2. You're too vague by "I tried to uninstall it."

sorry about that, go to:
C:\Program Filesx86\Steam\steamapps\(steam user name)
you should find the gmod folder in there, just delete the whole folder
