No but ie is specfically designed for windows by microsoft. Thus its far superior on those systems

It has security flaws out the ass, which get fixed much slower than Firefox's, it is much slower, the layout is clunky, etc.

Overall, IE is stuff and you should get another browser.

Extension crashes are extremely rare, yes, but Chrome is far more stable as a result. Chrome hasn't ever crashed on me in the 3 years I've had it.
