Author Topic: Klein bottles: you know a glass vial is metal if it manages to defy everything.  (Read 5370 times)

But since it is all one sided, doesn't that mean everything is on the inside of it, including the entire universe?
no, everything is on the outside

What stops us from viewing normal glasses as the same way; all one side, the outside, and it just bends around to form the "inside?"

it's a conspiracy

no, everything is on the outside
The inside and outside are one and the same.
AKA

it bends to one side.

want to make something truely unexplainable, make it 360 degree symmetrical

A 3 dimensional Klein bottle is totally fine
A 4 dimensional Klein bottle (which cannot exist in three dimensions and therefore is impossible to understand while looking at in three dimensions) cannot exist except in four dimensions. Ergo, a three dimensional Klein bottle is just that. A bottle. There is no insane pooprichardery going on with that, aside from the fact that things you put "inside" of it can theoretically just get stuck in there for a while.

it bends to one side.

Perfect spheres???

Wait so the outside is inside the inside and the outside of the inside is actually the inside of the inside and

so if a guy manages to forget himself in the ass with his own richard, he doesn't exist? woooahahahahahaaaaaaa

the fact that the pipe goes through the side of the bottle makes it completely uninteresting to me

You're exaggerating to such a ridiculous extent it's hilarious.

So spheres are unexplainable?

So spheres are unexplainable?
spheres have an obvious inside and outside.
