Okay, the real deal is in.
Yes, I've bought a new key to sign up a new account, and it seems that this thread needs some attention from the guy who made it.
So to start off, I'm doing an FAQ:
1. The weapons are terrible, can't you get better ones?
As much as I'd love to use better weapons, the ones that I use are the only ones that imitate the guns from the real game. I would, however, use Rykuta's L4D2 pack in a Global Offensive server. If you want to try and fetch some real CSS weapons, be my guest.
2. Stop putting "Blocko" in every single thing you recreate. It's annoying and repetitive.
This was Monkey's doing, not mine. I want this server to just be called Counter-Strike: Source, so sorry about that.
3. There isn't a buy system? Everyone's gonna go around with AWP's and MG's!
We tried eventing a VCE buy system which ultimately didn't work, then we tried using the simple Weapon Shop System. In the end, no one couldn't get enough points to buy anything so they were stuck with pistols and no armor. There are servers on CSS that start with $16000 dollars, so I guess you could say it copies that.
4. You don't have a host? Boooooo!
Why buy a host when I can just start a dedicated server? If it's more players you're after, just set that setting in RTB. I don't think Kaphost or the new RTB service would serve me anyway.
Feel free to ask any more questions. The server was down for half-term since I was away from my desktop and had to leave my house empty, I'll put it back up sometime soon.
