Does Blockand can port to new torque engine?

Ohh, I dont really understand how it works. So what does Torque do and then what does OpenGL do? Is Torque just like the base for it?

Torque has all the code for the game, including gameplay mechanics, physics engine, etc.
OpenGL makes it so we can see the game.

Shadows are a GPU/GPU API (OpenGL in this case) function. Badspot adds code to the engine to interact with OpenGL, which interacts with the GPU. That's why it will never work with a GPU that doesn't support it.
