My Gmod add-ons aren't showing

Ever since Gmod 13, my add-ons that I have installed to my addons folder aren't showing up in game, such as my weapons, models, ect. How do I get them to work?

This makes no sense at all.

gmod 13 addons =/= gmod addons
most gmod addons don't work on gmod13.

none of my add ons are working. Even just models, no scripts. Those should work.
