The best I could come up with is zoning out a world, basing value off the lots around it and the lots itself. But even then its still as rigid and abuseable as anything else. I'm not sure its possible to begin with.

just because something works in real life, that doesn't mean it should just be automatically outlawed to be in blockland

you could apply that to your entire mod that you have here, it's probably more based off of real life than any other "city type tycoon thing" out there

as for your second point, that's basically a more complicated way of what you're already doing, and it relates little to boltster's proposal.

Böltster:

lets see, you called the idea non "legitimate"

you said it wont work

you said real life has no place in blockland

you said it had no substance

you said there's no other way to do it

you told me about your best idea

and then you told me i was offering another problem

nowhere did you break down my idea and tell me what about it wouldn't actually work

Kingdaro:

i don't like boltster either, but that's no reason to not even think about implementing a perfectly good system. maybe not perfectly good, but about as good as any roleplay-based system can get.

You are trying to replace a problem with the same problem.

"there is no other way to offer value apart from how many bricks the person has"

that's not true at all. my idea in and of itself is a way to get a value without counting bricks. players suggest a value of the build. the value is then averaged and the owner earns a dividend of this value.

now i'll ask again lol, what is the problem with that system
