Although the only competition would be with other nations, and where there is competion there is technological progression. So we need competition, otherwise noone has a reason to develop new stuff. Saddly greed, love, and oil is what makes the world spin.

I believe that robots should be used for exploring dangerous places like volcanoes, deep ocean. Working in Nuclear reactors, construction, search and rescue. So I hope the government doesn't come to these guys and say "weaponize these".
