Ive done this before. It spams the projectile limit and lags a lot more than an emitter would having all the projectile explosions going off. Past that, it did work and look decent, but the extent to what I could use it was limited. Ive also considered a lighting projectile but never got around to doing anything on it. I figured It would work as stationary "bolt model" with a raycast projectile that ends at the tip of the bolt. This would be the most simple way of doing this without it looking like trash.. Id like to see this optimized. |
