Third person aiming/crosshairs
ChappersTeddy:
Your crosshair is shown in third person, pretty much.
This has been requested a lot, I know, but people need this badly. I know this has been done before but you needed Winzip or something to add it to your game.
I'm sure it's not hard.
Isaac Fox:
The thing is, whether you're in 3rd or 1st person can actually affect the weapon's aiming. 1st person aiming is meant to be more accurate than 3rd person.
I would also love this to be done, but I don't think it'll be that simple.
hodototman:
It'd have to be some standalone model or object actually being placed on the aim area, or something.
or maybe just a raised crosshair idk
but it'd have to move with the camera movement, which would be hard to do, or you could just make the aim point an object in itself... or...
the possibilities are endless. just remember the strike launcher from the WH40k pack. (Imperial)
ChappersTeddy:
it's really just you being able to see where you're aiming
take an example
the shoulder playertype (in thirdperson, it is thirdpersonshoulder)
you'll be able to see your crosshair in that without your blockhead in the way
like first person, crosshair always in the right place
Aide33:
The problem with this is that the camera isnt exactly in back of the player
And different player types = different aiming position
