Everybody thinks that Disney only makes movies for children, when this isnt true at all.
This is news to me. Please show me 3 movies that Disney have made that aren't for children and aren't utter pieces of stuff.

If this is news to you. Then you are an idiot and don't know what Disney is. Disney has done plenty of movies for all ages, and aren't only for children.

It's funny. The people who are complaining about their childhood being destroyed grew up during the prequels.

The prequels.

Childhood = Already Destroyed.

Tron/TRON Legacy

yes he would

TRON Legacy
National Treasure
Pirates of the Caribbean

The only one out of the bunch that isn't a kids movie is Pirates of the Carribbean, which I admit was a really awesome movie(s).

Star wars was meant for both kids and adults. I'm going to watch it anyway just to see what Disney does

Since when is Tron a kids movie?

I don't think you have seen the other ones. Just because it isn't bloody and violent, doesn't mean it's a kid's movie.

I thought the other two were pretty good
National Treasure was decent, havent seen Tron, but I'm basing it on not being a kids movie. Only PotC isn't a kids movie.

PG = Parental Guidance

I am well aware of this. I'm looking for 3 movies by disney that have earned a PG-13 rating or higher.

Please disregard what I just said. After looking back at other movies I've seen which I wouldn't consider to be kids movies and are PG, I now understand. Nevermind, you guys have won.

That means that a child could watch it. However, that doesn't mean a child would like it, or even be interested. If you had a video about politics that did not involve any violence, a child would not want to watch it, but it would still be PG.

Well, you never asked for that. Plus, Star Wars was PG, so why is that a point?

To list a couple which aren't specifically aimed at Children and also recieved good success either in reviews or revenue;

These are just a few which I am familiar with. A large number are aimed at Children, but also at Adults too and contain Adult themes and/or undertones.

Just because Disney has the rights to make a Star Wars Movie doesn't mean it will be childish like a Disney cartoon.
In any case it is very likely that Disney would have other companies write/film/direct and provide for the movie, and that Disney is just the publisher. The people who would make a new Star Wars Movie wouldn't be the people who make animated Disney films or other pure childrens films.
Also consider that at its heart, Star Wars is also aimed at children. It only seems otherwise because most of the original fans of Star Wars, who were children when it first came out, are now adults.

I would be hesitant to see what Disney decides to produce.
I have no idea who they will get to do it or how it will be done. It might be absolutely brilliant, in which case hooray. It might be really stuff, in which case that is a shame. But I don't have to watch it after the first time.
And I'll watch it anyway as a fan of Star Wars to see what it is like. That doesn't mean I have to like it or spend the rest of my life watching it over and over on repeat crying at all the poor choices they might have made.

I derped, sorry.
