I was under the impression that TheBlackParrot had a pretty nice not very laggy server. Surely he doesnt host from a laptop.
Blockland has very low system requirements.

Even having a bad CPU yourself shouldn't effect clients all that much.

i like how his site says "feel free to navigate the site using the navigation buttons above." when there's two buttons and the information could have easily fit on the home page.


In this situation a bad cpu is a core 2 duo.

i was able to host 3 servers fine on an 1.6GHz intel atom N270 with about 24 players on at one time, surely a core 2 duo could handle about 6 or 7 servers, maybe even more if you get a more powerful one.

Assuming he made nontrivial edits to it, he owns those. His ability to actually enforce it is pretty limited though, if it, in itself, was an unauthorised edit of the original code, though.

Yeah, he seems like a control freak. Buuut overall he doesn't want anyone to use something he made. Can't blame him for that.
