I need a good strategy game

TL;DR: It sounds more like you just suck at Wargame because you are trying to play it like an average RTS which is the wrong way to play it. It's a game about realism and you have to play accordingly.
I can understand that Wargame is not a game for everybody but it certainly does not suck.

Spam your best units and wait an hour for them to get to the enemy and die because your enemy has better units.
