I like the idea but I would have made the bevel on the gray part larger and used a linear gradient with more bands. Perhaps two gradients overlaid for more detail.

Can I have the .pdn to that?

It's called "spiderman"

I made these in blender using portal 2 textures, clean and simple. I suppose I could dress them up a bit, but I like how they look, especially when I have them rotating every couple of minutes.





The second to last one looks a bit repeaty.
