Inverting the direction of bricks in a structure

You know how in some lego sets instead of sticking a brick on top of another you stick it on the side or upside-down, like this:




Is this possible in BL? Because it would be very useful, there are those octo-bricks that have studs on the side but you can't place a brick on it, it's either on top or beside it unconnected.

It is not possible. Its possible to make bricks that look like there upside down though.

It's very much possible. You could simply do a check if such brick datablock exists and then use that. He's not talking about creating new bricks on the fly here.

Horizontal mirroring would be fantastic too.
