Through Wine with 12x CSAA (8x CSAA, 4x MSAA) compared to Windows with the same AA settings, I get a much greater video performance than Windows by running it under Wine, but sluggish mouse movements is easily overcome. Overall I'd go with Wine for the 19 FPS difference, despite the mouse being somewhat sluggish.

Learn moar. As far as I can tell, Mac used the Linux kernel which is FREE, to make about $1000 off of each Mac PC they release.

Anyways, can we get back on topic?

Good, you're realizing that Apple just takes free things and sells it for a large price.
