discrimination has existed since forever, loving deal w/ it
when i bought retail a good portion of the servers said "banning 1k+" in their names. all the sub-1k's didn't like us 1k's.
if someone is dumb enough to ban people based solely on ID i don't see why anyone should bother with their server anyway.

What do you mean? The point of IDs is to provide an unique value associated with a player to separate players regardless of name changes. Making it random would make it even better.

The discrimination goes away after a year or two though. Then newer users need to deal with it.

Unless I'm using RTB wrong.
(ie: only certain people get the account up there (had to play the game once, had to have RTB))

Here's an idea, how about the "older" users grow the forget up. Its a real turn off when when you get banned for having a high ID. I've witnessed too many that some guy, who wasnt doing anything wrong, getting perma'd for having a high ID. The problem isnt the new players, its the previous ones. (not saying all of us older players are bad)
