Is it me or do events randomly clear on random bricks.

I was building a stage and made events for some emitters such as smoke etc.
As I tested them all out to see if they worked, they all did as normal. After some more building I came back to see how the effects looked with some lights and then I found out some bricks events cleared and some didn't for the smoke etc.
Is it just me or is this a glitch?

I reloaded once but it wasn't on that save I built everything after that.
