I was only guy from my school to go to the Info-night so i was purdy lonely. I came to school today and was like, so guys "ib" and everyone was like 'o man i wanna do ib o man'

then i said, 'you guys need the application forms, etc.' and they said 'o man where do i get those' and i was like 'the ib coordinator, mr mullins' and they were like 'k'

That sounds more like a mission statement than an education program.

I've always believed IB was superior to AP, but it's all usually just subjective. I'll be running full IB next year, and the few things I know about it I like better than AP.

Tests:
No stupid grading scale like AP

Classes:
Although at my school you have to take TOK (theory of Knowledge,) the math courses seem more rounded and dynamic versus AP.

Other IB rules:
IB has some of the strictest rules of any program I've heard of, but you'd be best to actually research them yourself.



Edit: I have heard of a sort of pre-IB course people can take in Middleschool, but know nothing about it.

my school's IB program is great. It doesn't get in the way of your social life or anything (so far)
