When is brick transparency and FX going to be fixed?

Just because it's low priority doesn't mean it'll never get fixed. But in the mean time, you can workaround this by:
- making your brick waterfx or undulo and hiding the top and bottom
- painting the brick pearl
- turning raycasting off with one of the above

me and 1 found these workarounds while building my naval base map. The main reason they work is because they overide the new brick rendering functions. This does mean the brick will not shine and will use fixed function lighting, so use them sparingly.
