NO. No it is NOT.

Paper Mario is supposed to be an RPG game with leveling, party members, and badges that act like special battle moves and powerups. This game has NONE of that. If you start on this game, you miss 90% of what Paper Mario was based on and that's the reason why I loving hate it. Ive beaten the game, just to say I have. I got absolutely no enjoyment from this game.

Also, to those who say the game is easy.. Show of posts, who used a walk through? I figured all this stuff on my own.

You got no enjoyment out of it because you liked the other ones, Somebody with no experience with the series doesn't have that comparison. Why not say play it then play thousand year door to see how much better it is?

it's also pretty impossible to get literally no enjoyment from a game unless the game or you are trying to get no enjoyment
Mr.Noßody:
I wanted to love this game, I really did. But they took EVERYTHING I loved about the original Paper Mario games away and replaced it with a half assed item system.

I got no enjoyment out of the game because every 10 god damned steps I was compelled to yell "Wrong! That's WRONG! That's not how that works!!" True I hate this game because I enjoyed the older style, and because if that this game hits me at all the wrong angles.

The game was more of a "stuff, where do I use _____ sticker?" or "stuff, what sticker do I use here?" kind of game. The game would be forgivable if sticker usage made some goddamn sence. I mean, the Goat sticker clears a pile of paper? What!?
Mr.Noßody:
Nintendo has to realise that most of their consumer base grew up with these older styles. They should not try to "appeal to new audiences" by changing the name of the game. If the game is good, it will bring in attention by itself.
