there's an equilibrium you have to have enough new concepts and content to make it different from the last game but not too many that it doesn't feel like the same series anymore the first two paper mario games achieved this perfectly |

so far i'm enjoying it. the lack of an experience system, partners, and a few other things are definitely a bummer. it feels more like a Paper Mario spin-off, but for $30 i'm having good fun. it's an improvement over Super Paper Mario (in terms of heading back to the RPG system), but no TTYD |
