wasn't there a couple shadow missions that were like flashbacks in sonic adventure 2 battle?
I finished playing through this game and didn't ever do those missions but I remember them. I also remember hating them so I don't miss them.

You may be thinking of Shadow the Hedgehog - I can think of at least one there, where it puts you on the ARK with Maria.
