It doesn't appear to be Slenderman that's chasing you; from the PewDiePie video it looks like just a white orb.

i never saw slenderman when i played, i spent about 30 minutes running around and got three scraps and only once did my screen go to static, near the angle statue, and when i turned nothing was there.

Sometimes I think its the things we don't see or understand that scare us. Someone should create a monster called the shadow or something. You will only see its shadow or silhouette.
