Google Earth won't work for me :(

This keeps on coming up. Any solutions?

Step 1- Make sure that the 'tips on startup' box is not checked.

Step 2- Immediately after starting google earth, go into the settings and set it to DirectX mode and set Antialiasing to 'off'.

If done properly, this fixes many google earth problems.

I know this'll make me sound clueless but, how do you get to that .-.

Found it, but when I click it, it won't uncheck. A bunch of windows get in the way to fast.

Edit: Nevermind, I can click it but the tip still keeps coming up. Someone please reply.
