We've got a few people who will get on to you for not using proper grammar.
I won't say anything, for a long time, anyway.
Furling aka cubelands was working on a railroad track mod, but that's probably dead.
Treynold416 was doing the same thing, dead too I believe.
We've got a train, but no tracks.
Best option is a form of teleportation events and synchronized respawning.

You can just build a track out of bricks and make non-rendering blocks to keep the train on the track. You can then duplicate it to adjust length.
