Author Topic: What windows 8 SHOULD have been like  (Read 2193 times)

people acted like this with windows 7 and windows XP

nobody really ever gave a flying forget about vista

So it works faster and it also has internal support for mounting ISO's, besides that do they ruin anything you can't just change to make it work like Windows 7?

If you can make everything work like Windows 7 I might just buy it.

As far as I can tell you can't really change it back to look like windows 7 and even the smallest things that you could to easily in windows 7 are more of a pain to do now.

Sticking with 7. Desktops are perfect as far as software goes, hardware is what should be improved, not turning a desktop into an immobile touch screen phone emulator with faster loading.

It does work faster.

Its only faster because its minimum specifications were changed I believe. And I do miss the start orb alot. I liked how you were able to change to a different theme too. But I'm going to get it on my new computer.

can you run windows 7 programs on it?

this seems like a pretty bad idea to me lol

The minimum requirements lowered because the OS needs less than before and runs faster on less.

Almost all.

No. Just, no,

what crawled up your ass this morning?

It does work faster.
But Gaming Wise Windows 7 Outperforms 8.
Depending on specs of course.

People have tested it and they actually get a better FPS with 7 than 8.

With all OpenGL gaming on my part, I confirm this. Much better FPS with 7.

What's your problem?
why not?
Idk, I just happen to like Windows 8 the way it is.

Wouldn't it have been nice if they combined the desktop and start screen instead of having the start screen nearly useles?
