my tips on making a city
this is a topic on tips i will give you on making your blockland city. i am curntly making my own city but its WIP and hardly isnt finished yet
first tip
name your city. none wants to be seeing a city with no name!
second tip
ALLWAYS use custom roads. Custom roads are even better than normal roads and normal roads are giant pile of stuff, with custom roads you get a better path and cars can drive better on custom roads. here are some pics i took:
best thing is you can have a sewer but i didnt really put a really good one i just put the top of it there. if you want to go advanced and make a good sewer under your city you can and that makes the city even better!
second tip
making buildings easier. instead of having all the roads and then making all of your houses,buissneses,etc just do this:
first make a building,house or what ever. i made a duck factory with the rubber duck bricks from pual guy
save it and then go on to the next building you are going to make. you dont have to do this but its more easy than just taking hours to build a city. then adding all those buildings is easy! just load them and place them were you want and then build roads next to them.
Note: you will need the duplicator for this, you load your save and use the duplicator to move it. then destroy the loaded build and keep the duplicated build you duplicated
you can use buildbot if you want but that isnt very good for this.
third tip
allways use small vehicle spawns.
this is easy for putting vehicles on roads instead of having big spawns like this:
you can use smaller ones
this might make it less lagy if you are wanting to use vehicles for your city.
