personally I'm exited for the new players. The servers are starting to feel empty lately in my opinion.

Everybody starts off as a noob...
for the first few months, there will be an invasion of 40ks

40k probably wouldn't last a whole month before it went into 50k.

True, and I remember being persecuted as a 10k.

I hope the master server can handle the amount of players on the way. If not, then.....well crap.

Badspot needs to run the master server on Cloudflare.

It's not like Blockland will have some flood of starfishs and it's not like we'll have a server player flood; Blockland will probably have the same Player:Server ratio and the same players per server.

The forums probably won't change too much either. If you look at other Greenlit indie games, you will still see a community of tight-knit players dividing into cliques of players, such as how Pacha, Night Fox, Frontrox and so on are in the "furry" clique and Comr4de, fawkes, and Tingalz are in the ARES/Mech clique, etc. etc.

what if team avo joins?

Then we ban them from servers that do stupid stuff on?

I hope it does, c'mon blockland. Loved you forever, best $20 I ever spent.

Still

I must just not like change or more publicity but I'm still feeling a little uneasy about this whole ordeal.
What if we attract a bunch of TF2 players and they decide to go on a frenzy making crappy weapons and hosting horrible servers, or an even worst example players from Shooters on Steam, coming here thinking they can suggest and whine that, "This game isn't realistic it's not like Half Life / Tf2 / L4D / everyothersteamgame.
Just giving that a thought, it's like Blockland being advertised on Roblox, or Runescape, they'll come with their own variety that sometimes won't fit with Blockland, but will try to force it anyways.

i'm speaking gibberish half of the time.
Yes you are.

Also, how would that be any different from what Blockland is now? Take a quick look in the addon section, 90% of the addons are weapons...

Most of those COD-fanboys wouldn't even buy this game. Those who'll buy it are probably the same kind of people as those who're in the community already.

I was a CoD fanboy and I bought this game. TWICE. Then again I also bought it because im love with legos.

Cloudflare won't cache dynamic content, would be pointless.
