Anybody with votekick installed on their server is asking for stuff like this to happen. This is why you don't democratize server moderation. It works fine in a small team based game like for L4D but isn't really a great way to run a larger server, especially when it's not some team based thing. Sure, votekick lets you kick the guy spamming pong projectiles but also creates a lot more bullstuff than it alleviates. Not to mention that we got along just fine without votekick for years by just ignoring people. It's just a game server - nobody's ever going to create an emergency so dire than an administrator can't just log in the next morning and clean it all up. Lives aren't at stake here and kicking should just stay in the power of server staff.

Thread is now about the server host running stuffty mods.

just because everybody was doing it and the admins were doing nothing about it doesn't justifiy the fact he did it as well.

What happened to blockguy has happened to me countless times and I didn't go to drama board calling for anyone's head

For example, I joined a server once and Tingalz was admin. He called me a bronyfriend and banned me. If I had taken pictures and taken the time to make a decent drama, it would have accumulated 50+ pages overnight. But I didn't and when the ban was up, I joined again and called him a friend and everyone was happy afterward.

Lol Facechild does stuff like this. So do all the oldcigarettes, having an early ID doesn't mean anything. He is protected by the "veteran status" you people give him.

A lot of the oldcigarettes are in their early 20's and they do the whole"lol were so funny cos we tease children online" routines. I've seen Facechild appear a few times recently and its all just been to forget with people.

Younger people in the community are more likely to try hard to fit in. Its the older long time players who are more likely to try and bugger you around.
