Author Topic: Man sentenced to 285 years in prison for molesting 11 children.  (Read 2084 times)

damn

imagine life sustaining technology in which they could keep the guy alive for 285 years.

then the guy who got 400 years that time would really feel the pain hes caused.

If girls weren't allowed to participate in social activities and stayed in the house like they should, they would be raped a lot less.

Even if he did live 285 years, when he'd get out of jail he would be too slow to cross the street and die.

Prison year =/= 365 days
It's a fraction of the time actually spent in jail.
What does this mean?

"Hey, just wanted you to know the exact number you're going to be in this prison bye."

The reason he got such a weird amount of time is because the judge did that to make sure if he works to get out early it's going to be far far harder, plus there is also other thing that decrease prison time as well.

The judge handed down the maximum sentence possible, telling Pineda that he should die in prison.

How exactly is "285 years" (Thanks, Clone v.117) in prison the maximum sentence? If the judge wants him to die in prison, why not just give him an instant death sentence?

Or, maybe he just wants him to suffer as his life ends.

For the record you can only spend 30 days maxium in jail, unless you someone pays bail. Next jail is the place you are held before your trial so you don't flee the country. Next he goes in and the charges are placed against him where he either pleads not guilty or guilty, if he pleads guilty he goes straight to prison, if he pleads not guilty he goes back the jail to wait for part 2 of his trial and must get a lawyer to defend him or he must defend himself. Part 2 if the actual trial part we see on tv, but it's less dramatic and usually end within an hour. If he is found innocent he goes free, if he is found guilty he goes back to jail for part 3. In part 3 he goes back to court where the judge tells him his sentence and for each victim it adds a couple of years to that sentence. The he goes to prison for x amount of time.

Now it also true that we have people in jail for really long time and that is because of prison over population, so now you see jails being used as makeshift prisons which is also illegal by the way because they are only for temporary storage. Also for each extra day in jail is taken off your sentence.

Years.
Life in prison is far worse than death.
Unless it is a hot prostitute prison, those are good.

There have been cases where supposed female lawyers are just prostitutes. Also in some prisons if you have been good there is a chance where your spouse or girlfriend can come over and you get a small private room at the prison where you two can talk or whatever.
