The 12.10 drivers from AMD are ass and when compared to the 12.11 beta drivers from AMD, people got around a 10% increase in FPS in Far Cry 3, but for Blockland It may not do anything, some of the drivers like Nvidias give not only bug fixes but improvements in FPS, so your bro is right but Nvidia usually works on a specific games to give better FPS increase, I doubt they did any for BL. If your power supply can support a GTX 660 you probably have around a 400-450w power supply. Your PC might support a GTX 660ti or the 7950. If you have a GTX 660 I don't really think it would be worth the money to upgrade now. When I upgraded my 550ti to a 7950 I only noticed like a 20-30fps increase and I still lag at times with shaders which Annoys me. |
