Trouble choosing Default or Squideey's brick textures

Im working on a new build since 2 weeks ago. I'm having trouble choosing between the Default brick textures & Squideey's textures. Although, most people here says Squideey's brick textures is the best out there, but I noticed that yesterday, that the Default brick textures look like they stand out more especially brickSIDE... Which should I use?

Squids suck.
Use Manty's if you can, they are easier on the eyes... or at least were, I dunno what they are like with the new lighting system.

Default is designed to look more like bricks stacking on top of each other. Squideey's is designed to blend more smoothly; it was originally to get past maps' static lighting making the white lines show up even in very dark builds.

If you use squis texture and have a 100% pitch black color on your colorset, you can paint a brick with it and they will turn completely shadeless black. This doesn't work with default textures, idk about mantys. But it's really cool if you want to create a space feel for part of your map while other parts are in bright daylight above infinite lava or something.
