No one needs to explain to you what is so good about it.
Go and watch it if you want to find out if you like it or not.
If you don't like it then don't go on a stupid outrage against anyone who mentions it.
If you do like it, feel free to discuss it. But try not to turn all discussions into being about it. I like Pasta. If I can make a pasta joke somewhere I might have a go at it. I don't need to post Pasta-related comments everywhere.
The topic you linked to is not a ban on pony discussion.
It was a ban on a single member from mentioning anything to do with ponies.
And only because he was being spammy and abusive with the "discussion's" and Badspot was likely getting numerous complaints about him.
There is no ban on MLP discussion on these forums, unless you are Lord Tony.
I'll agree with the OP.
There was absolutely nothing wrong with the post in the topic mentioned.
The topic was designed for discussing unusual/humorous cross-over game-concepts.
If someone had edited in a Transformer, or the Cookie Monster or Spider man into the image there would likely have not been any complaints.
The topic was likely going to turn into a big forum game anyway, with people editing in even crazier characters into the image.
The people who decided to blow a fuse over the post needed to take a step back from their keyboards and re-think what they were doing. They were over-reacting to a simple joke. It wasn't an attempt in anyway to turn the aim of the topic to MLP discussion.
If a joke is this obvious, which it was, and you get angered by it, you should take a breathe and back out of the topic. You're only going to cause a pointless argument and ruin a good topic for everyone else.
