Oh well. Didn't know that. But here my reply to this: Long ago, I saw a movie, it was about a guy, which tried so hard to defend his big boss. He tried to use pretty clever statements and raged when he's opinion wasn't wished in the current discussion, he even cutted his arms and legs to get attention, but well at the end both(the boss and the helper) died. It pretty much resembles this situation here.
